Charlie Rivera Final Solo Performance (2070) Event
Charlie Rivera’s final solo public performance took place at a jazz festival in 2070, when Charlie was sixty-three. He performed seated in his wheelchair with Logan and a care team positioned backstage.
Performance
Charlie vomited onstage during the set. After wiping his mouth and repositioning himself, he resumed playing. Near the end of the performance, he lost consciousness in his wheelchair, and Logan and the care team took him backstage.
Aftermath
Charlie retired from solo public appearances after the festival. The decision ended solo performance but not his work as a musician, composer, producer, or mentor. Four years later, he returned to the stage with CRATB for the band’s final concert at Lincoln Center.
